D-fender is not a metal band. D-fender may not even be a stoner band. D-fender is no longer a hard rock band. D-fender is a reunion of friends who were not necessarily friends. D-fender is a debatable set of creamy theories that should not exist. D-fender is not really a band, it is a sound. One that resonates between the future of original rock and the past of seminal hard rock. D-fender may not even be real. Except in concert, or on an alien archive concerning the future of the wildly poetic, luminously visceral rock of the mid-21st century. Did you say Mutant?
