From epic euphoria to in-your-face djent riffs and sheer anger to atmospheric melancholy, fragile despair and inner turmoil - One Lunar Day takes you on a lonely journey full of lost dreams and fears. A journey which seems to inevitably lead to decay and madness. Modern progressive metal meets dark cynematic rock and melodic vocal lines.
The six-piece band from Zurich was founded by drummer Dave Wieser in spring 2022 and performed their first show as part of his bachelor-exam at the Zürich University of Arts. Immensely appraised by both audience and expert jury, the band has since been working on the production of their very first concept album, expected to be released in early 2024.
Most recently and notably without any released material yet, One Lunar Day was selected to perform at the Rock4Future 2024, Switzerland's second ever showcase festival for Heavy Music.
