In a heavy, somber and ethereal manner, wazzara weave elements of doom, post metal and blackgaze into dreamy and atmospheric soundscapes.

The Zurich-based band emerged 2015 from a themed solo project of Swiss singer and composer Barbara Brawand and over time evolved to a full band with additional band members George Necola (bass), Mäsi Stettler (guitar), Tom Kuzmic (guitar) and Deniz Lebovci (drums).
