Dark Oath is an epic symphonic death metal band from Portugal, known for its powerful and emotionally charged music.
With a passion for storytelling and a deep connection to mythology and folklore, Dark Oath’s music takes listeners on epic journeys through the realms of human history.

In their debut album, "When Fire Engulfs the Earth," Dark Oath delved into Norse mythology, particularly the cataclysmic event of Ragnarök. Their sophomore album, "Ages of Man", turns their attention to Greek mythology and invites listeners to journey through time and experience the highs and lows of human existence, exploring the rise and fall of humanity through the Gold, Silver, Bronze, Heroic, and Iron ages, as told by ancient greek poet Hesiod.

Having released "The Weaver" in late 2025, Dark Oath is getting ready to release an EP in early 2026 that continues the journey through Greek mythology.
