Polaris, Thornhill & Silent Planet
A high energy Tuesday with four international bands who set the Kulttuuritalo on fire!
While Paledusk did a good job getting the crowd warmed up, it was probably not everyone’s cup of tea, when it comes to the music. The show on the other hand was very active and dynamic, and there was a lot of movement happening on stage.
The two bands in the middle offered a solid performance and a good use of the projector. While Thornhil used it primarily to display their band logo, Silent Planet made full use of it hand had various videoclips show which complemented the show perfectly, without being to distracting.
All the bands so far shared unfortunately a way to loud drum, comparing to the rest of the instruments. So you had to listen very closely to get all the other voices.
Headliner Polaris received after the support a crowd that was around boiling point and made good use of it. Circle pits, wall of death, crowd surfing and a lot of dancing and jumping was happening in front of the stage. Sound was way better and the selection of songs was superb.
